Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has become a very significant enabling technology in civil, military, radio communication and medical applications for collecting and processing of complex environmental data. Wireless sensor networks have several important attributes that require special attention to device design. These include the need for inexpensive, long-lasting, highly reliable devices coupled with very low performance requirements. Radio communication has highest energy consumption in wireless sensor nodes. Sensor nodes are battery driven and have limited power. Hence, sensor nodes lifetime on the order of months to years. Hence, energy consumption is the important factor in determining sensor nodes lifetime. Power consumption is high during data processing and data transmission process. Inorder to reduce number of data sensed by nodes Data Aggregation is used. Data Aggregation converts multiple sensed data into single data. Here proposing, data aggregation process implemented using DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling) algorithm used at input side along with Static Algorithmic Transformation (SAT) uses folded tree architecture to reduce power by reducing number of processing elements and to improve performance of sensor nodes. Experimental results shows that using DVFS algorithm reduces power up to 13% compared to existing processing methods.Keywords

The incorporation of Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and sensors into mobile devices has enabled collaborative sensing applications, to monitor the dynamics of environments through the collection of data from many users’ devices. The automotive traffic monitoring system and alternative route selection estimates traffic congestion from GPS velocity measurements reported from many devices. This paper considers the problem of improving guaranteed anonymity in a locational data set that includes location traces from many users, while maintaining high data accuracy. A novel time-to-confusion criterion to characterize privacy in a locational data set and propose a disclosure control algorithm that selectively reveals GPS samples to limit the maximum time-to confusion for all vehicles. It also considers heading information reported by users in the tracking model to find alternative route.Keywords

SPAM (UBE) is email sent to groups of recipients who have not requested it or have "opted out" of group email subscriptions and continue to receive email from the sender. So we devise a DKIM (Domain Key Identified Mail), which is a domain level authentication framework for email using public-key cryptography and key server technology to permit verification of the source and contents of messages by either Mail Transfer Agents (MTAs) or Mail User Agents (MUAs). The ultimate goal of this framework is to permit a signing domain to assert responsibility for a message, thus protecting message signer identity and the integrity of the messages they convey while retaining the functionality of Internet email as it is known today. Protection of email identity may assist in the global control of "spam" and "phishing".Keywords

Metallic foams with controlled porosity are an emerging class of ultra-lightweight materials that are receiving increased attraction in automobile, military and other commercial applications. Metal foams exhibit high stiffness to weight and strength to weight ratios, and thus offer potential weight savings. They also have the ability to absorb high amounts of energy during compressive deformation for efficient crashworthiness. In the present work, closed cell aluminium metallic foams were produced through liquid state processing by using calcium as viscosity modifier and titanium hydride as blowing agent. The porosity content of the foam was 88 %. The pores are differently sized and uniformly distributed. The cell wall microstructure was studied using optical microscope. The compressive response of the foam was studied at different percentage of deformation using uni-axial compression testing machine.Keywords

This paper explains an empirical model that has been developed to arrive at the Best Possible Fare (BPF) for all the ad-hoc requests made by the corporate passengers. For the purpose of this research, a corporate request is considered ad-hoc if the booking request is initiated after the corporate channel for the particular flight is closed. By charging the best possible fare, the airline will be able to marginally increase its revenue without deviating from the guidelines of the corporate channel. This model updates itself with the available capacity at the time when the ad-hoc request is initiated, also considers the previous booking data to forecast the passenger demand and the channel behavior. This will lessen the manual intervention and its associated errors, and will take care of the number of corporate requests that can be approved and size of the corporate booking requests that can be approved. As the factors affecting the booking trend of the airlines have been covered earlier in various research papers as discussed in the literature review, we have directly focused on deriving the empirical solution in this paper.
